I've loved photography for a long time, but I've loved nostalgia even longer.
MY WHY
I grew up with a camera in my hand, documenting and questioning everything, and took that with me as I studied photojournalism in college.
I was the kid who begged to have family stories re-told to them, pored through the CVS photo prints and rewatched the same VCR home movies. My dad, also a photographer, took me on early morning photo walks and encouraged me to learn photography in the darkroom. These experiences were formative to my identity, and still inspire me as a storyteller today.
